ALEJANDRO FRANOV (born 1972, resides in Buenos Aires) is one of the most important musicians in Argentina, brought to worldwide critical acclaim by singer/songwriter and actress Juana Molina.
FRANOV worked as a sound producer for Juana's three albums, "Segundo" (2000), "Tres Cosas" (2002) and "Son" (2006).
"AQUAGONG" is his latest update.
As with his other previous albums, his talent as a multi-instrumentalist is fully expressed throughout.
And furthermore with this album, he is even singing and chanting as if he got out of his usual playground connecting to another universe.
The key figure of the Argentinian experimental music scene returns with powerful and striking compositions that are far more accessible and omnipresent.
