Tomotsugu Nakamura is a musician and graphic designer residing in Tokyo, Japan. “Slow Weather” is his first album which
he spent 3 years in making these delicately crafted music. He uses various instruments such as guitar, piano, synthesizers
along with field recordings and glitches as sound sources, and lays those sounds as if sketching dotted patterns on white
clean paper. Thus the songs are shaped in very absract forms and the details are astonishingly precise, however, they sound
very tender and melodius at the end which makes his music so special and different from the others.
Tomotsugu Nakamura is a first release from kaico, a sub label of SPEKK, Tokyo organized by Tomoki Takeuchi.
"A computer can’t be transformed better into an instrument as featured on this album. Essential!" - Nils Frahm
“With Slow Weather, Nakamura has created a phasing still life impression of his sonic surroundings - gloriously rich in detail.
This is a gentle, yet focused outing into a very personal sound world, it offers a glimpse into an unique audio vision
which is as intoxicating as it is enjoyable.” - Lawrence English
