Alejandro Franov is the leading figure of the Argentina’s experimental music scene, and known as a multi-instrumentalist. He has previously released many solo albums which each has it’s own concept, and this time, he has produced a solo guitar album using the Argentinean acoustic guitar.
The album "Mil Almas" means thousands souls in Spanish, and the concept of this album is to leave the compositions at it's purest form thus just using the guitar instead of adding decorative elements with other instruments. So you can feel and enjoy the very essence of this talented artist by listening to these "pristine" tracks.
The artwork is painted by Geraldine Guterman, and the album mastered by Chihei Hatakeyama.
「音の妖精」ことアルゼンチンの大御所アレハンドロ・フラノフの、何とソロギター作品が登場！「千の魂」と名付けられた本作は、全編フラノフがお気に入りのアコギを使用して制作したアルバム。いつもの美しい旋律や本能のままに流れるような展開はここでも健在。フラノフの音楽性がむき出しとなった、ピュアな雰囲気に満ち溢れた作品です。天才肌のマルチ奏者の果敢な冒険はまだまだ続きます！アルバムジャケットのペインティングはフラノフ友人のGeraldine Gutermanによるもので、畠山地平氏によってマスタリングされています。

Alejandro Franov is a musician, composer residing in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is also a multi-instrumentalist who can play the accordion, keyboards, guitar, citar, percussion and even vocals. As a producer, he has participated in Juana Molina’s albums, and as a composer, he won the grand prix at a music award in Argentina with his scores for the soundtrack “Rompecabezas”. He has also released around 10 solo albums, and is one of the most famous Argentinean musician in Japan.
「アルゼンチン音響派」の最重要人物の一人、ブエノスアイレス在住。シタール、アコーディオン、キーボード、ギター、パーカッション、ボーカルと何でもこなすマルチ奏者で、「音の妖精」の異名を持つ。フアナ・モリーナのプロデューサーとしても知られる。2000 年初頭から現在までコンスタントにアルバムを発表、作品毎にテーマを変えており、中でも初期作「Khali」が国内外で大ヒットし、その人気を決定づけた。日本でも公開された映画「幸せパズル（原題: Rompecabezas）」
のサントラも手掛け、アルゼンチンの最高権威にあたる音楽賞も受賞。そして日本での来日ツアーも何度か果たしている。
