The Bridal Shopは、2006年の中頃にスウェーデンのストックホルムで、Karl Daniel、Peter、Toomas、Idaによって結成された。New Order〜Pet Shop Boysを彷彿とさせる、エレクトロニックなビートとメランコリックなメロディーに、スウェディッシュらしい爽快感も兼ね備えた楽曲は、たちどころにインディー・ポップ・マニアの間で広まり、2007年には、Pains Of Being Pure At Heartなどをいち早く発見した、マイアミのCloudberry Recordsより3インチCDR"Bay the Moon"をリリースし、同レーベルは7インチEP"In Violation"を続けざまにリリース。2008年にはポートランドのMagic Marker Recordsより "From Seas"をリリースし、2008年8月にはHappy Robots Recordsのコンピレーション"Botpop Volume 1"に1曲目として本作国内盤ボーナス・トラックの"Cloudkick"を提供した。2009年4月にはペルーのPlastilina Recordsより"In Fragments"をリリース。キラー・チューン"Cloudkick"をボーナス・トラックとして加えて、この度国内盤リリース。
